Central Austin Young Life
Crooked Creek YL 2019

Who?

High school students who have finished their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school.
Capernaum friends between the ages of 12-24.

When?

July 13-21, 2019

Why should I go?

Because Crooked Creek Ranch is the most beautiful place you will ever see and you will have the best week of your life in the Rocky Mountains!

What can I expect?

Crooked Creek is one of Young Life’s most desirable camps. You’ll have more fun than you thought was legal, meet new friends, have late nights, amazing outdoor adventures (ridgerunners, horses, a crazy high ropes course, water slides, sand volleyball, frisbee golf), fantastic music, and did we mention the food....

What is the cost?

Austin High/McCallum Student Cost: $850
Capernaum Student Cost: $1350
. . . . . .which includes transportation, a great cabin, three square meals a day, and all activities. Bring extra cash for the snack bar, camp store and six meals on the road. The variance in cost is caused by a difference in ratio of leader to student. Capernaum will have a 1:1 or 1:2 leader to student ratio while our typical high school students will have closer to a 1:7 leader to student ratio. If you have questions about this, feel free to email centralaustinyounglifestaff@gmail.com
A $150 non refundable deposit is required to secure a spot on the trip.

How do we get there?

We rent top notch charter buses for the trip!!  Departure location and time will be announced in the Spring. However, you can expect to leave town the evening of the 13th and arrive back in town the afternoon of the 21st.

Second Timer Policy

Young Life has a second timer policy with camping for typical high school students. The mission hopes to take as many kids to camp for the first time as possible. For this summer only we have been approved to lower or required ratio from 5 new friends to 2 new friends. A second timer who registers will be placed on our waiting list until their 2 friends have registered for the trip as well.
